When do I have to RSVP by?

August 1st. If you can RSVP even sooner, that’d be amazing!

Will the wedding be outside?

Yes – all wedding events are planned to be outside in various locations throughout the property including on a wooden deck and a grass lawn. Please plan your footwear accordingly.

Can I smoke/vape onsite?

No – our venue does not permit any form of smoking/vaping on the property. This is for both fire safety and cultural reasons. The monks that live onsite have committed to this as part of their Buddhist practice and ask that we all respect their spiritual guidelines while visiting.

…But can I have edibles?

YES – edibles, gum, patches, tabs, etc. are all permitted by the venue, provided you do not abuse them. Please use responsibly.

Do I have to take my shoes off before I go inside?

Yes – this is a cultural practice at the venue. Please take off your shoes before you enter private indoor spaces and the temple (if you’re curious to see it). For public spaces like the dining hall and bathrooms, shoes are expected.

Wait, we can go in the temple??

Yes – and you totally should, it’s beautiful. Please be sure to cover your shoulders, remove your shoes and any hats before entering the temple, and maintain respectful silence inside. While we cannot have an organized event in the temple, feel free to use the space for personal meditation.

Can I bring my dog/cat/ferret?

No, sadly – pets are not permitted onsite. Exceptions can be made for service animals, so please give us an advance heads up if you’ll be bringing yours.

Can we go in the pool?

Yes – feel free to use the pool during the day on Saturday. Bring a bathing suit!

If I camp onsite do I have to bring my own gear?

Yes – please bring a tent and anything else you may need to be comfy camping!

Can I have an open flame, propane stove, or exposed heating element at my campsite?

No – these are not permitted at the venue due to the risk of wildfires.

What if I have dietary concerns?

We are planning to have delicious vegan and gluten-free options available for all attending, please note any allergies or other restrictions in your RSVP.

What if I have mobility issues?

The venue has accessible parking, pathways, bathroom stalls, and showers. If you have concerns around walking, please let us know ahead of time, there is assistance available for you.
